The Client is One of the Australia’s Largest Providers for Orders Fulfillment Services.
Challenge
The Client was facing a lot of issues in managing inventory which included the tracking of items being shipped, management of items in stock, order management and other related activities. All these tasks were handled manually, resulting in numerous errors and a high volume of returned orders, leading to customer compensation and financial losses.
Solution
Having expertise in dealing with WMS, Q3 team developed a “Order Fulfillment” platform which covered all the client requirements. Some of the features implemented in system are as mentioned below:
- Sure Sort Integration: It is a robotic item sorter that easily handles and delivers a wide variety of parcels and single items to their final location in a single pass.
- Pedometer: In order to track the Picker’s movement and productivity, pedometer was implemented using Step count sensor, which tracked each movement made by the picker during the picking process.
